The PRAirie CogniTive agents and Robotics (PRACToR) Lab

The PRAirie CogniTive agents and Robotics (PRACToR) Lab is dedicated to research on cognitive aspects of agents and robots, an area of study sometimes called cognitive agency and/or cognitive robotics. In general, PRACToR members also conduct research on related topics in knowledge representation and reasoning and autonomous agents and multiagent systems.

The lab was established on June 21, 2022 and is hosted by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Regina. It is located in Room 308.5 of the Research and Innovation Centre (RIC). It is currently funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Faculty of Science at the University of Regina.

Fun fact: PRACToR, pronounced πρακτωρ, means ``agent'' in Greek.
